About
Built to take the guesswork
out of the floor.
Flowta started with a simple observation: restaurant and store managers make staffing decisions every day with almost no forward-looking data. They rely on gut feeling, last year's spreadsheets, or nothing at all. We think that's fixable.
Founder
Eliakim Omari a founder and student at Aalto University, Finland, currently leading Flowta and Abibotti. He started Flowta after watching restaurant managers guess at staffing with nothing but gut feeling and last year's spreadsheet.
The idea behind Flowta is simple: give managers one clear number instead of another dashboard to interpret.
Mission
Give every restaurant and store manager the same forward visibility that large retail chains pay expensive analysts for, but delivered as a single daily number they can act on in under 10 seconds.
No dashboard full of charts, no report to read on Sunday night. Just one line: tomorrow looks busy at lunch, and here's why.
What Flowta does
Aggregates public signals
Weather forecasts, city event calendars, sports fixtures, public holidays, seasonal patterns. Flowta pulls all of it together automatically every day.
Calculates a Busy Score
A single 0 to 100 number for each time period: morning, lunch, evening. Calm, moderate, busy, or very busy. No interpretation needed.
Explains what's driving it
"Veikkaus Arena concert tonight (+high), rainy forecast (+medium), Thursday baseline (+low)." Plain language, every day.
Looks 7 days ahead
Not just today. The full week. Set your staffing roster on Sunday based on what the data says, not on what happened last month.
Vision
Flowta is starting at Mall of Tripla, one of Helsinki's busiest retail hubs, where a bad staffing guess is easiest to feel. From there, the same model can cover other malls across Finland and beyond.
We're not trying to build another analytics platform that needs a data team to run it. We want checking tomorrow's forecast to be as routine as checking the weather, something every manager does every morning without thinking twice.
